This corporate headquarters balances a high-intensity workplace with the soothing effects of nature. Landscape design included a garden waterfall at the cafeteria, garden views from main corridors and Zen garden design inspired landscapes surrounding the executive offices. Kurisu also designed entry landscaping using specimen trees to establish the look and feel of the headquarters. In addition to landscaping around the main building, Kurisu developed an environmentally sensitive rainwater catchment and drainage system, called "bioswales" which line the headquarters' parking lots. Planted with tall grasses and mature trees, the bioswales also serve to beautify the parking lot and reinforce employees' connection with nature even in the most mundane routine.
