Commercial Landscape Design, Portland, OR —
The Quintet

Conceived as a high-end condominium development, the Quintet prioritized beautiful landscape design and the preservation of existing wetlands. In 1992, the project received national recognition at the White House, Washington D.C.

Kurisu's landscape design included several garden waterfalls and plantings throughout the location such as Japanese maples and azaleas, that ensured color and beauty year-round. Environmentally sensitive treatment of existing wetlands incorporated them into the master landscape design, as soothing, naturalistic views.
